Types of Visas
There are many types of visas are available for Indonesia, such as tourists, Business, Student, and On Arrival Visa for Bangladeshi Passport holders. Glovan Travels provides consultancy support for sticker Tourist and Business visa only. Here is some brief about the common visa types:
Tourist Visa:
If you plan to visit Indonesia for Vacation and exploration, a tourist visa is your best choice. It allows you to stay in Indonesia for up to 30 days, with the possibility of extending it for another 30 days.
Business Visa:
If your purpose for visiting Indonesia is business-related, consider applying for a business visa. This visa type is ideal for attending meetings, conferences, or exploring business opportunities in the country.
Social Visa:
A social visa is suitable for those visiting friends or family in Indonesia. It grants you a stay of up to 60 days, extendable for up to four times, making it a flexible option for longer visits.
Student Visa:
If you plan to study in Indonesia, you’ll need this visa.
Visa on Arrival (VoA):
As a Bangladeshi citizen, you can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at certain Indonesian airports and seaports. This visa allows you to stay for up to 30 days and is extendable once for another 30 days.
Note : For Bangladeshi Passport holders, Indonesia’s visit is on arrival visa close until further notice.
Step-by-Step Application Process

1.Visa Application For
- Fill out the visa application form carefully and accurately. Ensure all information matches your passport details.
2.Gather Required Documents
- Collect all necessary documents, including photographs, proof of funds, a return plane ticket and hotel reservations.
3.Submit Your Application
Applicant or his/her appointed travel agent can submit the application at the Consular Service Counter at the Embassy of Indonesia in Dhaka. Ensure you have all required documents and the visa fee. Application must be submitted between Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 A.M – 12.30 P.M except on public holidays. Please make an appointment through email address: consular@indonesia-bd.org

4.Visa Fees
The visa fees vary depending on the type of visa and the duration of your stay. Make sure to check the latest fee schedule before applying.
- Visa Fee: TK.10,500 Normal + TK 250 Pay oder charge (10-15 working days)
TK.15,500 Express + TK 350 Pay oder charge (Only for urgency issue if embassy except). - Glovan Travels Service Charge: TK 3,000/- per applicant.
Note: A tourist tax of approx. 10 USD/IDR 150,000 per person apply to non-Indonesia passport holders visiting Bali via air, sea and land from 14th February 2024.
5.Visa Processing
The processing time may vary, but typically, it takes around 5 to 7 working days. Be patient while your application is being reviewed.
6.Visa Approval
Once your visa is approved, you will receive a visa sticker on your passport. Double-check the information for accuracy.
Travel to Indonesia
With your visa in hand, you are ready to embark on your journey to Indonesia. Ensure you meet the visa’s conditions during your stay.
Note: Without Batam city, you can travel Indonesia through tourist visa, but for Batam city you need a Business visa/family visit visa or Singapore visa.
Checklist
Requirement:
- completed visa application form and two passport sized photographs with white background (form can be downloaded from the link in the email)
- Original and copy passport with at least 6 (six) months validity upon intended date of arrival in Indonesia and has 2 blank pages
- Invitation/guarantee letter from sponsor in Indonesia (for Business, Conference, Social-Culture, Family)
- Letter from the applicant mentioning the purpose of the visit and intended destination (for Tourist)
- Bank Statement with minimum of USD 2000 (2 Lac) and original and copy bank cheque
- Ticket booking (confirm ticket advisable)
- Hotel booking / information of accommodation (confirm accommodation advisable)
- Travel insurance
Additional Requirement:
- Copy of the Marriage Certificate or a proof of identity for those who are accompanying their spouses;
- Reference/recommendation/NOC letter from the institution/company
- Copy of Trade license for business owner
- Statement from the applicants that they are aware of the place/destination of the visit in Indonesia (if the applicant apply visa from the travel agent);
